Hello, everyone, I am translating an abstract from a university textbook for nurses, containing a table. The table lists a number of tasks to be performed by staff nurses, among which: "Maintain traffic box", but I have no idea of what it is.

gestione del quadro/della tabella del traffico dei pazienti
Potrebbe essere questo. Si potrebbe utilizzare anche il verbo gestire o tenere aggiornato il tabellone/la tabella del traffico dei pazienti. Nei reparti ci sono dei tabelloni con il nome dei pazienti ricoverati e alcuni tabelloni indicano anche gli spostamenti dei pazienti. Però è un'interpretazione un po' libera, visto che non c'è contesto. Forse scorrendo il testo e non limitandosi all'abstract si comprende di cosa si tratta. Hai solo l'abstract? Non c'è il riferimento al testo intero? TI aiuterebbe credo.

: Tipo la lavagna che hanno a Grey's Anatomy dove scrivono le operazioni e le fanno 'scorrere' in ordine di priorità e ne cancellano man mano che ne fanno :)

se nel contesto si parla di mantenere un certo tipo di comportamento, magari in questa sezione della tabella si potrebbe fare riferimento al fatto di tenersi informati sul traffico per non arrivare a lavoro in ritardo...
