Discussion

mabravo Sep 28, 2009:
depends True it could be a filler- also need full sentence to see if it refers to a thing or a person
Robert Forstag Sep 28, 2009:
Context needed! Hard to know how to translate it, or perhaps ignore it as Pat suggests, without seeing the whole sentence of which it is a part.
patinba Sep 28, 2009:
Filler This is a typical filler or "muletilla" in Spanish , and your translation will read better if you ignore it completely.

agree Evans (X) : Definitely "in", NOT "with" or "on". You can use "with" if you say "with regard to this"

with this regard

Creo que es así, pero mejor lo podrá decir un nativo.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Robert Forstag : It would definitely not be translated as "with this regard" under any circumstances.

agree Ayana Jack : Jose, Robert is correct. It doesn't matter if you're not a native English speaker - the point is that "with this regard" is grammatically incorrect. Perhaps you were thinking of "with regard to".

Yes, I was thinking of that, but there is no doubt that I was wrong. Thank you
