I think it is referring specifically in your context to the sports hall itself, which is box-shaped, and, as you can hopefully glean from one of the refs provided, the composite panels can actually be used for floors, walls and ceilings with some slight alterations.

I initiall thought it was refering to the sports hall but was then put off because of 'interior aparece como una gran sala', but now I realise the repetition of hall would be in English, not Spanish.
