Italian term

unità locale

Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
I don't have much context but I believe this is the same term used by the Chamber of Commerce. Is it simply a local branch or subsidiary or is there another term used?
I found this definition on the CCIAA Firenze website

branch office

This term do not exist in english as it is specif for Italina Chamber of Commerce.
The type of business units that seems closer to unità locale is "branch office"
Branch office is a different concept from Affiliate or Subsidiary, that are normally stand alone units.

local unit

it seems a good generic term - you would have difficulty translating the explanation if you used something like 'branch' or 'subsidiary', since then you wuld be faced by translating other terms in the list like 'filiale'
