Bonjour,
le mot "offset" apparaît dans deux phrases dans le texte que je suis en train de traduire, mais n'étant pas une spécialiste en construction, je ne sais pas du tout de quoi il s'agit...
"It's got to be in the offset system. We just need to find a smart way of calibrating this shaft. So I think if we get one of these mounted on here we can just have a nice close comparison between something not moving and something moving. We’ll be able to see it as it’s warping around, how far off it goes."

on parle également de décentrement (bâtiment) ou de saillie, ...
mais dans le bâtiment on ne dit pas d'excentrage (= aéronautique)
