Conor McAuley Sep 19, 2016:
A trial balance is a list of all the general ledger accounts (both revenue and capital) contained in the ledger of a business. This list will contain the name of each nominal ledger account and the value of that nominal ledger balance. Each nominal ledger account will hold either a debit balance or a credit balance. (From Wikipedia.)

Accounting.
Jack Dunwell Sep 19, 2008:
Is this Accounting or Economics please?
maisy (asker) Sep 19, 2008:
I can only assume it is a company from what is listed.
Juliette Scott Sep 19, 2008:
If this is in the accounting of a company the meaning could be different.
