Sometimes German likes to use two words where one would do. So unless the text makes it clear elsewhere that "Bauteilen" and "Bauteilkomponenten" are two completely separate entities, I would just translate the whole phrase, "Bauteilen und Bauteilkomponenten" as "components" and be done with it.

If that is not a viable solution for this context, you could translate "Bauteilen" as something like "units" ("units and components" sounds all right). That is one alternative suggested by Laixicon.
