Sorry but this is first and second year of BTS after baccalaureate. The entry is wrong.
Non-ProZ.com Jan 13, 2007:
Bonjour Herve: At the Lycee polyvalente sainte-anne where a student is doing a BTS in Hotellerie and Restauration, the student in '1TS' does a course lasting 2 semesters then an internship. What might 1TS mean here? It is a Technical course cf. scientific, yes.

'1TS' is follwed in time by a '2TS' as if it is the title of a year of study.

Elsewhere, I see 'T' referring to various years in study at a lycee for a Baccalureat Technologique.
Hervé du Verle Jan 13, 2007:
can you give a complete sentence please. TS usually stands for "Terminale Scientifique" but does not match with a "technical college"

1st and 2nd year of "technical baccalaureate"

The student went through the "technology" cursus at "the lycee (upper secondary = last year called "Terminale" or Tle - "T" for Technology) to get the (French style) 'technological' Baccalaureate, i.e. end of secondary school, then began professional classes (equivalent of N-American technical colleges) to get the BTS, a 2 year course: 1TS and 2TS

disagree Drmanu49 : Sorry but this entry is completely wrong unles you consider the technical baccalaureate to be a BTS which is not the case.

Baccalaureate has not the same meaning in France and outside France, though I agree at daylight, it might be a college degree rather than a technical Baccalaureate, hence the quote marks
