Document about types of docking and mooring structures generated by Puertos del Estado (Spain). This is part of a table entitled: CONFIGURACIONES FISICAS DEL ATRAQUE QUE SUELEN SER MAS CON-VENIENTES EN FUNCION DEL TIPO DE TRAFICO. One column is types of "Sistema de manipulación de mercancias (Cargo handling system). The systems are classified as "sistemas continuos", sistemas discontinuos", "sistemas continuos por elevacion", "sistema discontinuos por elevación", etc. I do not think that this opposition is translated as continuous/discontinuous, but rather refers to systems that are either attached to or separated from the shoreline. However, I have no idea what term to use.

Iwonder if continuo refers to the use of a conveyor or roller system and discontinuo to fork lifts etc.
