English to Greek Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s)

Section 1. Definitions.

1.1 “Affiliate” means, an entity that is controlled by, is under common control with or controls such entity, ***but only as long as such control exits***. For this purpose, control means ownership or voting rights over at least 50% of the outstanding voting or equity securities of the entity in question or the power to direct or cause the direction of management or policies of such entity, whether through voting securities, by contract or otherwise.

1.2 “Brand” means any Merchandise sold under a particular trademark, trade name, service mark or other commercial symbol that Vendor owns, licenses, or otherwise has the right to use.
