Hola.To jump equivale a saltar y puede ser de maneras diversas.To bound es más bién moverse dando saltitos pero también un salto en dirección vertical(no a distancia).To skip se usa para decir saltar a la cuerda (to skip a rope) y para saltos con las piernas juntas como los canguros ,un canguro de película se llamaba Skipper.To hop es saltar en el mismo sitio (como rebota una pelota). Pero esto solo son connotaciones en principio són sinónimos.Saludos

hop - move in a succession of jumps, with one foot only touching the ground
skip - move in a succession of hops, but alternating from one foot to the other at each second hop (ll-rr-ll-rr)
jump - rise energetically into the air, both feet off the ground
bound - jump forwards, usually with a view to grabbing something
To see all this in action - in the same order - watch a good athlete doing the triple jump and then going to fetch his medal.
