Sorry this is so late, but no time to help with such a complicated question yesterday at all.
Cannot find any more satisfactory info on prisma or pictures.
Could this possibly be a (concrete encased) ductbank? Which, according to Scott, is a series of ducts together. How that would end up looking like a prism, I don't know, but that is what "skirting" round the subject has led me to so far... What do you think?

I only know about--enamel rods =prismas del esmalte
