autos in civil matters means the court file or record..it means the judge is going to rule on the matter. I don't believe it means writ here...

: not necessarily..los autos and un auto are different...los autos is just the case or matter before the court; that was settled. Also, how do you "settle" a writ? :)

dependiendo del país, pero aquí, en EEUU, orders are "issued" (emitidos) y, entonces, "acted upon" (resueltos)
