not being a telecomunications tower expert, the only thing that comes to mind is that often times in rural/rustic areas communications towers are built so as to "fit into" the surrounding area - such as a wooded area where they put fake trees on the tower to "camouflage" it. This is not an answer per se, but an attempt at assisting you with your project. The term pastoral would suggest to me something along these lines. Good Luck!
