Here are a couple of examples:
El Área de Producción y Transformación C.I.S. iniciará, a petición del Jefe de Compras mediante solicitud enviada por correo electrónico, el proceso de homologación de un proveedor en los siguientes casos.
Cuando el inicio o reinicio del proceso de homologación se haya determinado, será el área de Producción y Transformación C.I.S. quien lo llevará a cabo con el envío de un Cuestionario al proveedor, que contendrá la siguiente información.
I'm not sure if this an internal acronym used by the bank, in which case I'll probably need to check with them, or something more generic.
Any help appreciated!

: I can't see how Commonwealth of Independent States could have anything to do with supplier endorsement for a Spanish bank. Do you not think it's more likely to be an internal acronym?
