Questi grandi *setti* ciechi definiscono i volumi e le pareti dell'edificio

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Architecture
Hi, I'm translating a project description on a website and I came across the above sentence. I can't find a good solution for 'setti'. In Italian it has a very specific connotation, namely "elementi verticali quali pareti in cemento armato, che data la loro massa e la loro elevata inerzia hanno il compito di contrastare le forze sismiche orizzontali o la spinta del vento". It is also different than 'wall' according to this page http://forum.acca.it/it/edilus/id11207/differenza-fra-setto-...
I might settle for "sturdy blind wall" but I wanted to ask you guys first.
Can anyone help please?

Thank you Sandy, good guess but these walls are outside, they're not bearing load..
Sandy Carpenter Nov 22, 2020:
Sounds like it could be referring to a load-bearing wall (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Load-bearing_wall) if that's any help?

Shear wall

If you google walls that dissipate horizontal force you get results for shear wall. Seems to fit.
