German term

doppelt ergiebig

Thx in advanve!
[Sorry, I don't know how to reverse language pair!]

• Double the coverage of a traditional foundation
• 12 hours of long-lasting, flawless wear (16 hours with Setting Powder)
• A natural even skin tone with a soft matte finish
• Helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and larger pores

Dermatologist/Allergy tested.
Note from asker:
Es stimmt, der deutsche Text ist auch nicht besonders präzise. Danke für den Link!

agree Paul Cohen : twice as far as what? / I guess the German is also just as 'disjointed', eh? ;-) / Assumably explained elsewhere: "Yes, our product is a little more expensive, but it's worth it..."

as its competitors or predecessor, I'd say
neutral Kcda : Good slogans: "goes twice as far" or "double the coverage" Lasts twice as long could also work but reminds me of toothpaste!/Ich habe lange Jahre in Österreich gelebt für mich ist Neutralität fast Angewohnheit! Wenn Sie unbedingt wollen (neutral) :)

thanks for sharing that, but again I'd prefer a "neutral"

twice as effective or twice the effect

I have seen this on various cosmetics
Peer comment(s):

agree Kcda : Yields doublefold - twice as effective. I have heard of "twice the effect". It is generally used often.

Thank you
agree Ingeborg Gowans (X) : that is commonly used

Thank you, Ingeborg
disagree Cilian O'Tuama : they're common expressions alright but sorry, have to disagree, if the "effect" was meant, I doubt they'd have used "ergiebig" (but sth. like Wirksamkeit/Wirkung/Effektivität...)

a little goes a long way

Das heißt, eine kleine Menge macht einen großen Unterschied

neutral Cilian O'Tuama : surely that'd just be "ergiebigER", and the "doppelt" would mean "twice as far". But we're wasting...
