German term
Nachvereiniger
German to English

Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
In a process diagram relating to isocyanate synthesis, the first step is "Phosgensynthese - Hauptvereiniger", followed by "Phosgenabtrennung", from which CO goes to the "Nachvereiniger" together with chlorine from a subsequent step. Here, they are reacted to form phosgene.
Does anyone know the English for Haupt- and Nachvereiniger?

second reactor, finishing reactor
These terms have been thought up by the author - and they do not appear in Google. I would use "main reactor" and "second reactor". "Finishing reactor" is another option, but there are more hits for "second reactor" in combination with phosgene. Note that "primary reactor" and "secondary reactor" are not generally used here.
