Questionnaire for potential panel of translators
Really it's the meaning of this entire sentence (taken from a questionnaire addressed to translation agencies by a large firm that is seeking to establish a panel of potential translators) that I'm not entirely sure of. Here it is in context:
Q: Y a-t-il une facturation forfaitaire minimum?
Q: Seriez-vous intéressés par des interventions ponctuelles moyennant un forfait?
Q: Etes-vous prêts à consentir des tarifs préférentiels moyennant une présence sur le panel?
Any thoughts? Obviously I've come up with a literal translation "occasional work in return for a fixed-rate sum", but I want to be sure I'm not missing something. TIA.

: I don't think that interventions would work in this context

: I have some doubts on this one given that if all jobs are at a fixed price, what happens if some are much longer than others ?

My answer doesn't imply that all jobs are the same price. I have a client who tells me how much they're going to pay me for each job (and since they're very generous, I don't know or care how they arrive at that figure).

flat fee paid for a set period of time over which one may be called upon to work
Hello,
That's how I'd word it.
interventions ponctuelles = whenever called upon to work
moyennant un forfait = by a flat fee
I hope this helps.

Discussion
I recently heard of someone who was contacted directly by a big client (it could conceivably be the same people) asking if they would be prepared to do the odd translation for them and wanting to pay a fixed sum per month to be sure they would be available when required
