I can think of this that you are right

English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
This is not a translation question. I'm asking you to help me make out what dr Bella Dodd is saying in this recording. In fact, this is an entire sentence. If this is not allowed on proz, please let me know.
I could move among politicians as a leader of teachers and parents. I could say honestly, “Well, I’m not a member of the Communist Party. I can think of this that you are right.” I could say half-truths.

Thank you for help.
Change log

Feb 17, 2023 10:28: changed "Kudoz queue" from "In queue" to "Public"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Yvonne Gallagher

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Sounds like: "I think some of the things they do are right.".

Well, I’m not a member of the Communist Party. I can think of this that you are right.”

I would say the idea of her saying that was to introduce more communism into the crowds using different perspectives. But since not everyone followed the Communism, Dr. Dodd tried to implement communistic views in other ways; not only though Catholic Church, but also through parenting/teaching platform. As in: "Look, I am speaking to you not as a Communist, I am speaking to you as a teacher/parent etc."
