: This is what I would say. Unfortunately, I have just run out of the thing, so I could not check. I'm sure someone has a pack in the drawer and can tell you for sure.

: Normally the ready-made ice cubes come in these bags, no preparation necessary. Or at least here, when we say "ice bag" it just means a bag full of ice.

Honestly, I would just say JÉG ! =)
While I agree with the previous answer that ICE is JÉG in Hungarian and BAG is TASAK or ZACSKÓ, how could your wife possibly go wrong with just printing "JÉG" on those bags? Anybody can see they are bags, right? ....
