French term

plicature corticale

French to English Medical Medical (general) broken bones in a child
Hospital report of a 6-yr-old child who fell and broke her ulna and radius. From Paris.

I think that "corticale" is referring to cortical bone, but I don't understand plicature at all in this context. This is very urgent, I have to send the job within an hour. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
