Our project aims to blur the fine line between the design and art, as well as the utilitarian and ornate. Simultaneously, it is to challenge the cognition towards rigor calculation and mischievous expression, when we discuss the state of design. In our opinion, design needs to be “as ambiguous as possible” (that it means with a versatile function), to “edit the existed object”, (the ready-made objects surrounding our daily life represent the sound resonated towards the people’s needs, no matter in physical or mental) and to be “the mentor of the authentic beauty”: ornament should be regarded as one aspect of functions.
