Danish term
gives som e.o.
Danish to English
Medical
Medical (general)
administration of medication
The patient is in intensive care and several medications are given ´som e.o.´
e.g.
rp XXX 40 mg iv. som e.o.
iv is of course intravenously.
could it be ´efter ordination´?
Some of the drugs are the ones the patient has been taking daily before admission to hospital, now being given in IV form.
I'm getting very short of time, so thanks for any suggestions!

Discussion
I think efter omstændigheder is usually p.n. - I can't remember what it stands for off hand, but I translate it ás required´.
