Respondent’s general assertions that requests are “overly broad” and that responding to them would be “time-consuming, excessively burdensome and oppressive”, without explaining exactly how and why such objections are applicable to a specific request, and without its even attempting to respond to the substance of the particular requests, are simply stonewalling. Moreover, Respondent’s invocation of the alleged burdens and costs of document production, which it asserts entirely in the abstract, is both conclusory and overstated.
