Discussion

Derek Gill Franßen Apr 1, 2011:
Thank you. I appreciate you letting us know, Michaela.
Have a nice weekend. :)
Michaela Pschierer-Barnfather (asker) Apr 1, 2011:
Left it to client I don't think it's fair to say I should not have needed to ask this question. Why are there then so many different solutions to it?
What I did in the end was just use contract and add a comment, citing some of the other answers you came up with here.
Dr. Christopher Brooks Apr 1, 2011:
@Derek and Roland You both make good points. Perhaps the better way for this person to have dealt with her disagreement would have been to share with us more detail than she initially had (e.g. a few more lines from the agreement). Perhaps being more specific could have helped everyone in the field, extending professional courtesy, as it were...
Manticore (X) Apr 1, 2011:
@Derek I fully agree. As a result this user is going to be ignored by me. With all the credentials she has it should not have been necessary to ask this question in the first place.
Derek Gill Franßen Apr 1, 2011:
Politeness @Roland: It is perhaps technically unnecessary for the asker to provide their solution, if they close the question citing "No acceptable answer" (such as is the case here), but it would certianly be a polite thing to do. Wouldn't you agree? :)
Manticore (X) Apr 1, 2011:
@Derek that won't be necessary - we've got a few contenders.
Derek Gill Franßen Apr 1, 2011:
Re.: No acceptable answer Would you care to share the solution you came up with? It might prove helpful to future askers. Thanks! :)

4 mins

arrangment of the contract/agreement

This is one of many words you could use here.

Bah, it should read "arrangement" (stupid keyboard).

12 mins

contract

The partner undertakes to .... with XY as required by the contract and for contract compliance.

I think the ausgestaltung is actually superfluous. It just means the contract

18 mins

content of the contract

I know this does not translate the actual word "ausgestaltung", but this is certainly what they mean

that should do it

structure of the contract

The structure of the a contract is a standard consideration and one that appears to fit in this context, though a bit more text would help to ensure accuracy.
Peer comment(s):

agree Horst Huber (X) : I would go with this; how would you do the syntax? "... for the structuring and implementation of ..."?

That could certainly work.

framing of the contract

is the standard here (remember the 'framers of the constitution')
