MM = mil millones, which in the US (and pretty much only the US) is a billion (10 to the 9th power). If this is going to be read outside the US, I suggest putting this as a translator's note, or translating MM as milliard.

: There is no way this can be 430 billion us dollars. In Spanish abbreviations are doubled to indicate plural (EEUU for example) so this is millions.Look at it this way, if the figure is US billions we are talking about the GDP of Saudi Arabia, or Austria.

: I'm afraid this is an impossible profit figure. In Spanish abbreviations are doubled to indicate plural (EEUU for example) so this is millions. Well, not impossible if the text is dealing with an entire industry perhaps, but still, MM stands for millions.
