English term

soar away sun

English Art/Literary Music Lyrics
Hi Proz,

Not a task-related question - I was just mulling over the lyrics of "Mass Destruction" by Faithless and have no idea what this expression refers to. Thanks for your feedback.

Context:

Whether long range weapon or suicide bomber
Wicked mind is a weapon of mass destruction
Whether you're **soar away sun** or BBC 1
Misinformation is a weapon of mass destruc

Actually the song has quite a few elusive references, but I'll settle with this one for now.

Thanks!

Name of newspaper

Hola Alvaro. Parece ser cierto periodico o tabloide. No he podifo encontrar referencias especificas, pero sin duda se trata del nombre de una publicacion:

Participants at the forthcoming St. Albans Triennial Conference are being asked to indicate their choice of daily newspaper. The options are the broadsheets or “the-Soar-away-Sun” - world famous for its lack of vestments on Page 3.

Who? - Angela Rippon
screamed a headline from the soar-away Sun. Indeed the nation did have rather a
shock one Saturday night during The Morecambe and Wise Show. ...

Forget the BBC, the Guardian, Reuters and the New York Times; it's all in the soar away Sun.

The Sun Newspaper

The Sun is a tabloid newspaper in the UK it has the advertisisng slogan "Your super soar-away Sun", It is particularly famous for its low standard of news content so the lyrics are saying no matter whether you are a rubbish 'rag newspaper' or the creditable BBC1, disinformation is a weapon of mass destruction

Hope this helps
Peer comment(s):

agree George Rabel : I was looking in the Sun´s online page contributed by Ian, and I could not find the slogan, but I believe you.
