Hello, can you please advise if I should assume any/partial/full compatibility in the following situation:
I get source MemoQ files. Can they be opened in WordaFast Pro? How about backwards compatibility i.e. WordFast-MemoQ. Does .tmx secure a full compatibility as for TM content. How about Termbase management?
Thanks in advance for any hekp of those who experience(d) the same path.
Regards Maciej Andrzejczak

Can be done by using the Two column rtf export in MemoQ. You just import the column table as a word file, process it and copy the column back in before you reimport it into MemoQ.
As far as tmx compatibility is concerned: of course, you will always have minor segmentation issues, but you could do a pre-translation in MemoQ already. Termbases can be exported into an intermediate format (e.g. Excel).
