Clarification request(s) and response
bistefano: 13:46 Jul 19, 2004: I can assure you it is "irrituale", as you imagined there's a typo.

Don't bother if you find few hits on the web, 'cause it is strict legalese, not at all common or used except in correspondence between lawyers.

bistefano: 13:49 Jul 19, 2004: BTW, mind that "arbitration" is "arbitrato" in italian. If the word you got is "arbitrario" than there must be a name preceding it, because "arbitrario" is an adjective, just like "rituale" and "irrituale". Preceding word is needed to translate it right. -
xxxA-Z Trans (asker): 14:07 Jul 19, 2004: bistefano - the sentence I have is the one I gave you, so never mind that that "arbitration" is "arbitrato" in italian.
bistefano: 16:15 Jul 19, 2004: OK - it is "arbitrario", then a precedening noun word must exist, otherwise the construction is a nonsense - please, give us whole sentence, thanks ! -
xxxA-Z Trans (asker): 17:34 Jul 19, 2004: Cristo santo! - this is the whole sentence, like it or not! Thanks:)
bistefano: 18:45 Jul 19, 2004: Bene ! - In this case, if the sentence is just "arbitrario irrituale" it doesn't make too much sense in italian - if there's a second typo, and is "arbitrato irrituale", then it makes sense but in a law context (finding it in a Human Resource's context... -
bistefano: 18:46 Jul 19, 2004: ...is a bit strange, unless referred to the informal resolution of work's controversy. I cannot help you more than this, sorry. -
xxxA-Z Trans (asker): 00:04 Jul 20, 2004: this is the sentence! - "Che cosa si intende per arbitrario rituale ed arbitrario irritale"
