Michael Tovbin: 13:23 Jan 5, 2008: What radio ad? Incidentally, собака is much more frequenlty used than собачка. Собачка normally means the self-locking feature of a door lock or a do-not-disturb bolt that prevents a lock from being opened with a key.

Asker: As the radio ad is quite short "собачка" can be said more quickly than "коммерческое at" and - as mentioned above - is more likely to be widely understood in this context.
