This is a standard form to be filled in by the doctor:

"CERTIFICO la defunción de XXX

Que ocurrió a las ____ horas del día ____ de ______ de _______ en la __________ de ___________ número ______ cuarto ____ población de _________."

What does "cuarto" refer to here? I thought it might be referring to room number, on the basis that people often die in hospitals. Does anyone know? In this particular case, the information for "cuarto" was left blank, and the information before it was a normal address.
